IMPORT WORKSHOPS
Import workshops for entrepreneurs and small businesses
La Rodzina runs group sessions on importing and exporting for entrepreneurs and small companies that want to stop buying on the local market and start bringing in their own goods. Places are limited, and the sessions are designed so you can ask questions and leave understanding the whole process.
The workshop walks through an import from end to end: sourcing and vetting the supplier, working out the real costs, cargo consolidation, international freight, the Argentine customs regime and final delivery to your warehouse. The core of the session is consolidated importing: several companies buying together in the same container to lower the cost per unit, reach factories they could not reach on their own, and share the freight and customs clearance between them.
Who is the workshop for?
For entrepreneurs, retailers and small businesses that want to import for the first time, or that already import and need to improve their logistics costs.
What is consolidated importing?
Several companies share the same container. That way you get volume prices, and the freight, the insurance and the customs clearance are split among everyone on the shipment.
Do I need previous foreign trade experience?
No. The workshop is designed to explain the process from scratch, without jargon.
Why is it worth importing as a group?
Because small imports are the most expensive per unit. Buying together brings economies of scale and spreads the fixed costs of the operation.
Can a first import be financed?
Yes. We are approved suppliers of Banco Credicoop and our clients get subsidized rates with terms of up to 60 months.
Places are limited because the sessions are run in groups, with room for questions.
